What does docp mean?

What is the difference between docp 1 and docp 2?

DOCP I reads some settings from the DIMM, and uses the rest of the defaults from the BIOS (for the detected DIMM). DOCP II reads all default settings from the DIMM and uses those.

What is expo and XMP?
